Last week, Harry Styles attended the Grammy Awards at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles to perform his massive hit "As It Was," but his backup dancers later confirmed that there was a big problem during the show. Today, the musician appeared to have redeemed himself at the BRIT Awards.

According to Billboard, the former One Direction member performed the same song at the recent awards show, but he ditched the rotating disc which caused a mishap at his Grammys performance.

Styles opened the show wearing a stylish outfit consisting of a red sequin jacket and black slacks. The singer didn't wear anything inside his outer clothing and his tattoos were exposed.

Rather than having any backup dancers and an already-choreographed performance, the "Harry's House" hitmaker focused on interacting with the crowd this time as he let his fans take over the first chorus of his hit single before touching down their hands from the audience area.

Similar to the Grammys, the 29-year-old singer also won big at the BRITs as he bagged four of his nominations of the evening, including Mastercard album of the year, song of the year, and fan-voted pop/R&B act.

Harry Styles Grammy Awards Performance Mishap

The recent news comes after Harry Styles took the stage at this year's Grammy Awards to perform "As It Was" but things didn't go according to plan as he and his backup dancers started performing.

In early reports, his set was inspired by the song's official music video where he can be seen dancing with other people in a big revolving disc.

Taking to their official TikTok account, the choreographer, Dexter Da Rocha, explained that there were 12 backup dancers for the show and they rehearsed their routine flawlessly for ten days. They also applauded Harry Styles for doing a "good job."

However, a major problem happened at the show itself because the disc was supposed to spin counterclockwise, but it went the other way when the performance started airing live on television.

Da Rocha further explained how they were able to pull off the performance despite the mishap, saying, "Since it's circular it pulls you in different directions and it's such a special type of balance so we got accustomed to one-way and it was the opposite way so luckily we worked together and did our best and got to one cool formation."
