Demi Lovato is living up to her rocker imager by taking part in the soundtrack for the upcoming horror movie "Scream VI."

The singer-slash-actress took to TikTok to share a snippet of "Stay Alive," which is pretty much what one could expect if Lovato was included in a soundtrack of a spooky movie franchise like "Scream."

It's rock, edgy, and upbeat-just the perfect song to listen to while someone runs away from the iconic Ghostface, chasing after them to hunt them down.

The lyrics go: "Alive, I don't want to just survive/ Give me something to sink my teeth in."

According to Billboard, the upcoming "Scream VI" soundtrack will be released on Mar. 3, just seven days before the movie is slated for release.

This new single comes seven months after the release of her eighth studio album "Holy Fvck," and will be Lovato's first-ever release for this year, reports added.

Fans have mixed reactions to the upcoming single, but the news was generally received well.

"Mother is mothering," a fan wrote.

"Dami paved the way," another added.

On the other hand, some weren't as enthused: "It has to be an artist that I disliked doing a soundtrack for my favorite franchise. Well, life is hard I guess."

"Looking at the camera like she did something."

"another pop-rock song about surviving<' another wrote with a skull emoji.

'Scream VI'

"Scream VI" is set to premiere on Mar. 10 by Paramount Pictures; it will star Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Hayden Panettiere, and Courtney Cox.

According to reports, despite the dark and ominous aesthetic Lovato has taken to in her recent string of releases, she's in a very good place in her life.

"Life has become so enriched by you. Life has become a dream come true," she wrote in a recent Valentine's Day post about her boyfriend, Jutes.

"I'm so beyond grateful to have found my person in you. Falling asleep and waking up next to my best friend has made me so filled w joy I can't even begin to explain.

"My best friend, soul mate, twin flame, honeybun.. and the list goes on... the fun and laughs never stop w you.. I can be my weirdest goofy self and you never judge me. Thank you for making me the happiest lil thing on earth.. happy first Valentines day together.. I love you."
