Avril Lavigne was spotted having a special night out with Tyga over the weekend, and social media is saying a lot of things.

The couple allegedly dined at NOBU, one of Los Angeles' most popular nightclubs, and were even photographed cuddling outside the restaurant.

The punk rock diva donned an oversized hoodie with black-heeled platform combat boots and ditched her lengthy extensions for a loose wavy bob cut.

Tyga, meanwhile, donned jeans and a shirt, accessorized with a hefty gold chain and a hat.

The controversial rapper, 33, has had a number of prominent girlfriends, including Kylie Jenner and Blac Chyna, and it appears that he may be adding the "I'm With You" hitmaker to the list as well.

Avril Lavigne and Tyga have been seen together frequently, according to TMZ.

After saying their goodbyes to the friends who were with them at the time, the two exited the restaurant in the same car.

As word of their prospective romance leaked, social media was flooded with mixed emotions.

After spotting the rumored couple cuddling, one person remarked on Instagram, "Why you gotta go and make things so complicated?" a famous lyric from Avril Lavigne's song, "Complicated."

"This was not on my bingo card for 2023," another person commented.

On Twitter, one furious user said, "This can't actually be serious???? Isn't she with someone? Or in a relationship? & Tyga? The last 2 people I would ever picture as a thing."

"The bar is so low for avril," another Twitter user wrote.

Many fans, however, are curious about what happened to Avril's fiancé, Mod Sun, after they announced their engagement.

After all, the rapper devoted a whole album to her.
