When We Were Young Festival 2022 may not be very successful after the first day was canceled due to bad weather, organizers of the event will make up for the 2023 edition as the lineup is bigger than ever; where to get tickets for the event?

According to Consequence of Sound, the pop-pop punk festival initially announced the official lineup and date a few months ago, stating that the event will take place on October 21 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. However, more fans will get a chance to see their favorite performers live as organizers shared a second day for the festival.

Both days will feature the same lineup, which includes legendary bands like Blink-182's original lineup, Green Day, The Offspring, Sum 41, 30 Seconds to Mars, Rise Against, All Time Low, The Front Bottoms, Knuckle Puck, and many more.

When We Were Young Festival 2022

Pop-punk fans, who mostly grew up in the early 2000s, witnessed the first edition of the festival in October with performances from My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Avril Lavigne, and many more.

However, the first day, which took place at Sahara Avenue in Las Vegas, wasn't successful due to high winds and low temperatures.

In a statement, organizers for the event state that there have been "dangerous 30-40 mph sustained winds with potential 60mph gusts" that day, leading them to cancel the highly-anticipated concert; the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and National Weather Service also advised them to halt the performances.

"This was not a decision that came lightly," organizers said in a statement, adding that they are devastated to hear the news as many fans have been looking forward in attending the show and some of them have traveled to Las Vegas just to see their favorite artists perform.

Fortunately, the second day went according to plan and concertgoers were able to witness the exciting lineup that day.
