Nick Carter's accuser alleged that the Backstreet Boys member is using his wealth and popularity to "harass and silence" her after filing a lawsuit against him.

Shannon "Shay" Ruth, who accused Carter of sexually harassing her during the Backstreet Boys' Black & Blue tour, filed a new lawsuit Wednesday in which she alleged that the singer's countersuit was an attempt to "silence" her.

Rolling Stone obtained a copy of the new filing. The alleged victim said Carter's move in filing a countersuit was only submitted to harass and intimidate her even more. She added that the singer uses his celebrity status and wealth to "outlast plaintiff," Ruth's lawyer added.

"All while hiding behind being the 'victim' of the '#MeToo' movement and the preposterous notion that the plaintiff is only seeking attention and publicity," the filing continued.

Ruth's representatives aim to utilize Nevada's anti-SLAPP laws to dismiss Nick Carter's countersuit.

According to the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, Nevada's strong anti-SLAPP law covers "[a] person who engages in a good faith communication in furtherance of the right to petition or the right to free speech in direct connection with an issue of public concern is immune from civil liability for claims based on the communication."

Ruth's new filing highlights Carter's foul language in his countersuit, as he called her "a liar" who was "craving attention."

Carter and his representatives are yet to respond to the new filing.

What the Accuser Said of Nick Carter

In Ruth's original filing, she revealed that she has autism and cerebral palsy. She alleged that Carter invited her to the tour bus when she attended the Backstreet Boys' concert in Tacoma in 2001.

The singer allegedly offered her a colored drink which he called VIP juice despite knowing that she was underage. She recalled tasting alcohol in it. After consuming the drink, Carter reportedly told her to get on her knees and pull down his pants before allegedly insist her to perform oral sex on him.

Ruth added that Carter forced her to continue, although she was already crying.

She then recalled the singer leading her to a bed before pushing her down and removing her pants when she resisted. She allegedly begged him to stop while he attempted to copulate her orally.

Ruth recently held a press conference with her lawyer, Mark Boskovich, and told the public what Carter allegedly did to her.
