Carl Crawford revealed in an interview that he had already apologized to Megan Thee Stallion for their years-long beef.

"Me and Megan, we haven't talked since 2019," he told TMZ. "We've been going through, I guess, what you guys see online and it's unfortunate because I never wanted to have a situation where I was, you know, going back and forth with her on the internet."

The 1501 Entertainment CEO also cleared up the air on what really happened between them.

"I never had problems with Megan Thee Stallion, but this social media stuff turned really sour. You take this social media stuff out of it, and we won't have a problem," he continued.

"You won't hear me mention Megan Thee Stallion's name unless it's a big-time interview."

According to reports, the feud between Thee Stallion and Crawford stems back to when the rapper was still a part of the label.

Thee Stallion sued the label for withholding income and that the executives were being shady about her finances, as well as the matter of her contract in regard to what constituted an album.

The judge presiding over the case ruled that Thee Stallion's hit albums "Something for Thee Hotties" and "Traumazine" are considered as full-length albums, which meant that the rapper completed her obligations to the label.

Thee Stallion has since moved to 300 Entertainment, making her the first female rapper to be signed by the label, and has been very successful with her current ventures.

The Tory Lanez Issue

Aside from her label troubles, Thee Stallion also faced another issue: Tory Lanez.

The Canadian rapper shot her in the foot back in 2020, and severely injured her foot.

Lanez was found guilty of the assault and other gun charges, but not before being shunned and mocked by some members of the hip-hop community.

According to TMZ, Crawford admitted that he and Lanez barely knew each other, but his stunt was only for laughs and gags.

"I normally don't do stuff like that. I think I just got wrapped up in the whole scheme of things that was going on," he said.

"We all make mistakes. I'm not on nobody's side with that. I was just... I don't even know."

As of this writing, there is no word on whether Thee Stallion has accepted Crawford's apology.
