OG Disney fans rejoice! Selena Gomez recently had a short reunion with her former co-stars and they looked back at their time on set and reminisce on their memories together. However, there was one moment where the singer felt "ashamed"; what could it be?
The musician appeared on PodCo's "Wizards of Waverly Pod" along with former co-actors Jennifer Stone, who played the role of Harper Finkle, and David DeLuise, who starred as the pop star's father Jerry Russo.
In the conversation, the "Only Murders in the Building" actress opened up about her biggest regret, saying she didn't like the thought of not staying in touch with her co-cast members after the series aired its final episode in 2012.
Gomez said she felt "ashamed" for doing it and for the decisions she made when she was younger.
"I didn't want you guys to see me in the state that I was in, because a. you would have told me the truth, which terrifies me, and b. I didn't want to let you down," she added. (via People Magazine)
DeLuise replied that he found the gesture "sweet" and expressed his gratitude to Gomez for having the guts to tell the truth.

On the other hand, Stone chimed in to open up about how she felt about the rift in their friendship, saying there were times in the past that she blamed herself for what happened as she thought the pop star distanced herself from the cast because of her.
"'Did we stop being friends because I didn't tell her what she wanted to hear? You know what I mean?' So, I appreciate you being that honest," she added.
Even though Selena Gomez has not reached out to her Disney co-stars in years, she still appreciates them, saying she loves them in a way that she had never loved anybody else.
Elsewhere in the conversation, the Rare Beauty founder revealed she felt safe when they were filming "Wizards of Waverly Place" in the late 2000s and she felt genuinely loved by the people surrounding her.
The pop star played the role of Alex Russo in the famed Disney magic series. Aside from the two hosts mentioned above, other cast members include David Henrie, Jake T. Austin, Maria Canals-Barrera, and many more.
