Today, African-Norwegian pop duo Nico & Vinz, formerly known as Envy, announced their first U.S. album Black Star Elephant. The album is set for release on Sept. 16 through Warner Bros. Records and will include their hit single "Am I Wrong," along with 19 other tracks. Black Star Elephant will consist of 13 songs and seven interludes.
Though Black Star Elephant will be Nico & Vinz's first U.S. album, it will actually be their second studio album overall, following 2012's The Magic Soup and the Bittersweet Faces, which was released in Norway. The duo achieved international recognition with the release of "Am I Wrong" in 2013, which became a hit worldwide, reaching number one in the UK, Canada, and number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Radio.com also points out that Nico & Vinz have recorded a song titled "Find a Way" inspired by the upcoming film The Good Lie, about Sudanese refugees, which is to be released on the film's soundtrack on Sept. 30. The film's star Emmanuel Jal is featured on the song.
