Katy Perry's party-friendly single "This Is How We Do" just got another massive dose of summertime laidback fun. Yesterday (Aug. 21), the Prism single got an official remix courtesy of bizarre rapper and Perry's BFF Riff Raff.
The official "This Is How We Do" remix doesn't stray too far from the original slow burning pop song, though it does feature a new intro from Raff, as he proclaims the song is by "Riff Raff and Katy Perry, yeah we do it like that!" Not so original, but it works.
Perry carries the song for the majority, though roughly three-quarters of the way through, Raff storms in like a dark horse and blends the high life with cheap summer fun, not unlike his entire image.
"Rap game, Ted Koppel and Versace boxers / I valeted the chopper on top of Red Lobster / Who's starting (Katy Perry) / Who's parking / The Aston Martin catty corner to Neiman Marcus," Raff riffs during his short solo verse. He also name calls himself the rap version of Dr. Drew and Larry Flynt because it is Riff Raff after all.
Is this remix necessary? No. But it does add another layer to the casual partying lifestyle Perry depicts in the song...
