Alice Cooper confirmed Nita Strauss' return to his band ahead of his 2023 tour dates.

Less than two months before Cooper's Too Close For Comfort US tour, the rocker confirmed in a statement that Stauss is back to his touring lineup after the female guitarist's stint in Demi Lovato's live band.

In a press release (per Yahoo! Entertainment), Cooper revealed that his touring guitarist is "back" after asking him for a leave of absence to work with someone else.

Per the "No More Mr. Nice Guy" singer, he always encourages band members to play with someone else and allows them to try new things. He also thanked Kane Roberts, who filled in for Strauss in the months she was with Lovato.

The same statement revealed that the guitarist would officially return for the new tour in April.

"From the studio to the stage, it's always an immense honor to make music with Alice Cooper!! I'm very excited to be rejoining the band on the road for the 2023 dates, and so I'll see you on the road in April. Let the nightmare return!" Cooper went on.

Strauss' official Twitter account also confirmed the development and hinted at a "very special surprise" the band would give to fans on March 21.

Strauss started her career with her own band, Lia-Fail, when she was a teenager. She then became an official in-house guitarist for the Los Angeles Kiss before getting hired by Cooper to replace Orianthi.

She has since recorded and got featured in different albums in the past few years, working with Docker's Guild, Metal alliance, Jamie Christopherson, Angel Vivaldi, Tina Guo, and Maxxxwell Carlisle.
