In the Golden Globe Awards, it beat out Taylor Swift for "Carolina," Lady Gaga for "Hold My Hand," "Ciao Papa" from Guillermo Del Torro and Rihanna, Tems, and Ryan Coogler for "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever."

On the other hand, Academy Award Honorary Diane Warren was added to the list in the Oscars category for "Applause" from "Tell It Like A Woman."

Meanwhile, Mitski, David Byrne, and Son Lux were also nominated for their song "This is A Life" for "Everything Everywhere All At Once."

Eventually, "Naatu Naatu" won.

In their Oscars performance, "Naatu Naatu" got the whole Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California, up on their feet because of how energetic their performance was.

According to Indian Express, Prem Rakshith, the choreographer of the film, it took more than ahundred steps for them to complete the song.

"I have done more than 1000 songs but those songs never went to Oscars. Because of this movie (RRR), it went there," Rakshith reflected on his win. "Otherwise, I can't imagine going there. It is because RRR is so good and the way it is presented that everyone has enjoyed the movie and the song. I am so thankful to Rajamouli sir. This is his vision and his hard work."
