Throughout the night, it seemed as though a friendly rivalry was brewing between music superstars Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton on "The Voice."

However, fans are getting tired of it.

One Twitter user expressed their feelings about the ongoing argument between Blake and Kelly, tweeting: "Could you and Kelly back off the arguments. It's getting old and is not funny @blakeshelton."

Another fan followed suit: "The back and forth jokes with Blake and Kelly are getting old."

What Happened on Tuesday's 'The Voice' Episode?

During the fourth round of blind auditions on Tuesday, Chloe Abbott delivered a casual rendition of "How Deep Is Your Love" by the Bee Gees and received a chair turn from Chance the Rapper.

Blake joked about his athletic skills, claiming to be practicing for the US curling team, as he sought to connect with Chloe, an athlete hoping for Olympic triumph in 2024.

Kelly, fed up with the country singer's deception, requested that presenter Carson Daly bring out a lie detector machine. "Doesn't anyone else just get sick of Blake's lies?" she queried.

The Emmy award-winning host and "The Voice" host posed two very different questions to Blake during the test.

The "Since U Been Gone" hitmaker / former "American Idol" winner then asked whether she was Blake's favorite coach on the NBC singing competition, while Carson questioned whether former coach "Hollaback Girl" singer Gwen Stefani had married him out of pity.

The "Minimum Wage" singer answered this last query with a candid "probably, yes."

The husband of Gwen Stefani then said, "It's exciting to have Kelly back because when she's gone, I really don't have anybody to truly fight with. And when she's here, the fight is on."
