Young Thug's team are all hands on deck recently as they try to take down the video of the rapper threatening Lil Wayne in 2015.

Aside from this, Young Thug's legal team is also in pursuit of finding out who "KC" is, an informant who has been leaking information to the authorities since 2015 and a strong piece of the prosecution, this time for the conviction of the Grammy-winning rapper.

Young Thug, Lil Wayne Video Explained

According to AllHipHop, a video of Young Thug dating back to 2015, also uploaded on YouTube, will reportedly be used against Thugger during the trial.

Lil Wayne was also reported to appear on the stand - whether he would be for or against the rapper is still in question.

In the video, Young Thug is heard and seen verbally threatening the Young Money CEO through a diss verse.

The outlet also reported that the said video will be used by the prosecution as evidence proving Thug's involvement in leading the street gang Young Slime Life, working under Young Slime Life Records.

Why was the video important? This is because in 2015, Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, more commonly known on the streets as Peewee Roscoe, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Lil Wayne's tour bus at the time.

However, he was released from jail eventually after appealing that he was influenced by a judge during his plea deal.

Last May 2022, Winfrey was one of the many YSL associates that were served with a grand jury indictment for their ties to YSL Records/Gang.

Young Thug, KC Informant

Apart from taking down the controversial Young Thug video, Thugger's team is also in search of the identity of an informant who goes by the name "K.C."

Apparently, "K.C." has been in cooperation with authorities since way back in 2015. Back then, "K.C." was the suspect in a drive-by shooting that took place in January 2015. Who did he shoot? (via Hot New Hiphop)

T.I.G. Studios is the home to rappers like YFN Lucci, one of the main opponents of Young Thug.

Last year, Young Thug was linked to the attempted murder of YFN Lucci behind bars, who has been in jail since April 2021. He is booked for murder, felony assault, racketeering, and other charges in a whopping 105-count indictment.
