What to Expect on 'Child Star'?

The film would feature interviews with some of the most popular former child stars in the industry and will also show some archival footage of them growing up.

Hulu Original's SVP of documentaries and unscripted series Belisa Balaban issued a statement, saying Lovato's personal experiences and relationships will also be tackled in the movie.

One of the reasons why they're releasing the documentary is because their audience has been interested into knowing the truth behind pop culture and Lovato's story suits what stories they wanted to release to the public.

Despite the fame, Lovato suffered from bad experiences throughout her career like eating disorder, drug abuse, and more, but the musician has since recovered.
