An Oasis reunion is "happening," according to Liam Gallagher, despite the fact that it has been 14 years since the famous band split up.

Oasis Reunion Happening No Matter What?

The former leader of the band, who is now 50 years old, is confident that he and his brother, who has been alienated from him and plays the guitar, will put an end to their feud that has lasted for many years and play together again. He did not specify how or if the other party is even amenable to  healing their rift.

He responded to a person on Twitter who asked about the possibility of a Britpop group getting back together by saying, "It's happening."

Oasis broke up in 2009 after a fight broke out between Liam and Noel Gallagher, who were siblings and fierce rivals, backstage at the band's final show in Paris, France. Noel has claimed that he would never answer "never" when asked about the possibility of an Oasis reunion, but that it would require "special circumstances" for such an event to take place. That is not to say that particular circumstances could not ever come into play.

It comes as a result of Noel's reluctance to resolve the argument he has with his brother, as he appears to have formed an unexpected friendship with Peter Kay.

According to many sources, the artist and the comedian, who is 49 years old and is famous for calling Liam a "k**bhead" at the 2010 BRIT Awards, have developed a strong friendship. It has been whispered that Noel and Peter, who is Liam's worst nemesis, became romantically involved after meeting backstage at the comedian's most recent gig in Manchester.

According to a source close to the situation, Noel attended Peter's gig in Manchester the previous week and the two hit it up backstage. They continued to be in one other's company after the performance, during which they had a wonderful time. Peter is a huge Noel supporter, and as a result, he was overjoyed to see him when he arrived.

There were a number of people in the arena crowd who were not aware that Noel would be making an appearance.

Oasis Made Noel Feel Lonely

Noel Gallagher admitted in 2021 that he had "loneliness" while performing with Oasis; however, as he has become older, he has learned to "care less." After denying that there would be a reunion, the singer, who is now 54 years old, told the Radio Times that his conflict with his brother Liam was "inevitable."

In August of 2009, Liam was diagnosed with laryngitis and was forced to cancel a performance at a festival; however, Noel alleged that Liam was actually intoxicated.

Following Noel's charges, Liam demanded an apology from Noel, to which Noel acceded; following this, Liam decided to leave the band. During that time, Noel expressed his inability to continue working with Liam and both brothers created new bands, and ever since then, they have been engaged in a public feud against one another.
