Garth Brooks has been working on adding sold-out concerts to his run in Atlanta but that doesn't mean he's done with Chicago yet. The performer added one more show to his run in the Windy City, according to Rolling Stone, bringing his total to 11 in the city.

Music Times had theorized that Brooks was only announcing one city on his tour at a time so that he could max out wit has many concerts as he could sell out as possible before planning dates at another location. Although there's little doubt that this is Brooks' ultimate plan, he seems to have left a cushion to add more Chicago shows even while planning gigs in Atlanta.

"After seeing how happy everyone was in Atlanta about ticket access, I feel whatever the problem was has now been fixed," he said. "I would like to put on one more show in Chicago so people that wanted tickets and could not get in the system, now have a chance to see the show and get their tickets at face value and not have to go through the scalper/broker systems if they don't want to."

The country star has only announced two cities thus far for his comeback tour, totaling 18 concerts between them thus far. The country performer already had the record for most tickets sold for a string of shows in Atlanta, for his slew of gigs at the Omni in 1996, but now he's one-upped himself. And there's nothing yet on paper that's preventing him from scheduling even more shows in the city. After all, he's set his own personal record for most tickets sold in one city for one tour with his Chicago run. Why not chase another personal record in Atlanta as well?
