No more than 250 miles from the Covenant school shooting in Nashville, Tennessee, a gruesome mass shooting occurred in Memphis, Tennessee, at Yo Gotti's Prive restaurant.
The fatality in the Yo Gotti mass shooting has climbed to two, with five more people injured in the bloody ambush.
Yo Gotti Mass Shooting Update: Prive Restaurant
On Mar. 29, 2023, a quarter after 11:00 p.m., the Memphis Police Department responded to a shooting outside Winchester in Memphis, Tennesee.
The exact location? rapper, Yo Gotti's Prive Restaurant.
According to accounts from the Memphis Police Department, the shooting occurred as a result of an altercation that turned heated inside the restaurant.
"Two male victims were located, one was pronounced deceased on the scene and one was transported to ROH critical where he was later pronounced deceased. Five additional victims, four males and a female, arrived at area hospitals by POVs," the report read.

HipHopDX revealed that the shooting took place outside Yo Gotti's Prive Restaurant, specifically in the parking lot.
Meanwhile, Arthur Horne, Yo Gotti's lawyer, reiterated to WReg that in the many years, they have been in business, this was the first time that happened.
"It happened out in the parking lot, and it ended up in a shootout. Nothing happened inside the restaurant. Despite any conflicting reports, they were closing, and this happened at the end of the evening in the parking lot," Horne clarified.
Meanwhile, it was identified that males aged 30, 31, 35, and 37 and a 25-year-old female were involved in the Yo Gotti Mass Shooting.
However, as of this writing, it was still not identified who the suspect is and what their motives are as to what caused and transpired during the reported altercation.
Yo Gotti has not issued any statements nor responded to comments surrounding the issue. It was not also revealed whether he was on the scene when the mass shooting took place.
The restaurant and the Memphis Police Department are imploring people who might know the people responsible for the heinous act.
Nashville Covenant School Shooting
Two days before the Memphis shooting, a lone gunman in Nashville went on a rampage at The Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee.
The suspect claimed the lives of six people - three children and three staff members.
The 28-year-old suspect, Audrey Hale, was gunned down by policemen. He was a former student of the school.
