Lewis Capaldi shared more glimpses of his personal life and struggles in his new Netflix documentary film.

As one of the most famous balladeers in the industry, Capaldi has savored the fame and success that he immediately expanded his empire across the globe over the last few years. He is currently preparing to release his highly-anticipated second album.

But in his recently-released Netflix film, "Lewis Capaldi: How I'm Feeling Now," the Scottish singer candidly opened up about his downs and struggles, including his health issues.

What Lewis Capaldi's "Lewis Capaldi: How I'm Feeling Now" All About

According to Rolling Stone, the Netflix documentary film about Capaldi tells the singer's most vulnerable moments: from his mental health struggles to coping with the effects of his Tourette's diagnosis. It also touches on his issues with anxiety and imposter syndrome.

Netflix also highlights the "Someone You Loved" hitmaker's heartbreaks and heartfelt moments in the past years, including his time amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the uplifting email Elton John sent him.

As for his Tourette's, Capaldi reveals that he kept pushing back his treatment and avoided dealing with it for a long time. But after taking his steps to stardom, he shares how he began to notice his twitches getting worse.

"When I'm in traffic, it flares up. When I'm exhausted or after a big thing, it gets very bad," he says, adding elsewhere, "It comes and goes. It's part of life. Get used to it."

However, his father shakes his head and tells him he cannot ignore it.

Capaldi recalls how the flare-up during his performance at Wembley Stadium finally woke him up. His father tearfully recounts what he saw, saying that it broke his heart to hear the crowd cheering after his son stopped singing.

What Elton John Said About Lewis Capaldi's Imposter Syndrome

Amid his fame, Capaldi has to deal with imposter syndrome. The day after he told Ed Sheeran about it, Elton John reportedly sent him an email to remind him of his talent.

The Netflix film shares part of the message, in which the "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" singer wrote, "You're great live and a wonderful singer... You are also very funny and original. I mean this sincerely. Stop it now please, or I'll come out to Suffolk and bring out the latent homo in you. Buckets of love, Elton."

However, despite the kind words from a legendary musician, Capaldi's anxiety still reminds him of feeling like an imposter as it reportedly "bleeds" into every decision he makes.
