Jesse Carmichael may have been having the time of his life during his birthday today, in the midst of preparing for the ongoing Las Vegas residency of his band, Maroon 5. April 2nd, Carmichael's birthday sees Maroon 5 taking a break from their said residency. The band concluded their residency performance the day prior, April 1st, and will resume their performance for the said Las Vegas stint on April 5th. 

Let's get to know Maroon 5's keyboardist and rhythm guitarist, Jesse Carmichael, as he celebrates his 44th birthday. 

Jesse Carmichael Bio 

Jesse Royal Carmichael was born on April 2, 1979 in Boulder, Colorado. Carmichael doubles as the current background vocalist for the pop rock band from Los Angeles, Maroon 5. Carmichael has famously contributed work outputs to "Love Actually" (2003), "The Wedding Date" (2005), and "Mindhunters" (2004), as per ImdB.

While studying at the Santa Monica College. Carmichael formally joined Maroon 5 as their keyboardist and background vocalist. At the time, prior to joining Maroon 5, Jesse had a solo music project called "1863". Word has it that the musician was trying something new in his career-doing scoring and composition for music in various film projects, according to an article published on Smc.edu. 

Maroon 5's Accomplishments and Accolades in the Music Scene 

Maroon 5 had 13 nominations and three wins in the Grammys under its belt, as of this writing. Some of critics' picks of top best songs of the band of all time included,"Won't Go Home Without You" (2007), "Girls Like You" (featuring Cardi B) (2017), and of course, "Sugar" (2014).
