French Montana is dialing up a fantastic foursome for one of the songs on his new album this fall.
The track in question — “Gucci Mane” — will feature production from Kanye West and guest spots by Rick Ross and Lil Wayne. Montana confirmed the information in an interview with Los Angeles’ Power 106.
French, Ross and Wayne have previously teamed up for “Pop That” and “Marble Floors,” and the addition of Kanye in the production booth makes this a must-listen. West has been helping out with several tracks on Mac & Cheese 4, which is expected to drop in November.
“I love it,” Montana told MTV in June. “We’ve been working on his album and mines, so we’re just going back and forth.”
The 29-year-old Moroccan rapper was featured on a remix of Bobby Shmurda’s “Hot N---a” earlier this month. Our own Erika Benton-Martin broke down the song thusly:
From Vine clips to YouTube and countless unofficial remixes to Drake using it to open the ESPYs, the track has pretty much become inescapable and French comes through with his signature swag and flow as a bonus.
The Bad Boy rapper even shouted out Meek Mill and Max B. "Three bricks for a verse that's a swap n***a/Try my nigga Meek he on lock n***a/Try my nigga Max he in a box n***a/Pull up la marina in a yacht n***a," he rapped.
French also got girlfriend Khloe Kardashian to star in his “Don’t Panic” video, which dropped roughly a week ago.
Their relationship has been under fire recently for allegedly being a PR stunt.
"People are gonna comment no matter what,” Kardashian said. “If I dated the most clean-cut perfect guy, they're gonna comment. That's just the way it is. If I'm having fun and if I like this kid, no one else should care, they're not f---ing him."
