Jack Harlow is one of the hottest up-and-coming rappers in the industry today. However, Harlow seemed to be taking off some time making music right now, switching it for a bigger one - acting in film.

He will now be part of the star-studded Matt Damon film, "The Instigators."

Jack Harlow 'The Instigators'

According to Deadline, the "First Class" rapper rounded out the star-studded Apple film "The Instigators," which already starred Matt Damon and Casey Affleck.

It also starred heavy hitters and veterans like Academy Award nominee Hong Chau, Ving Rhames, Ron Perlman, Alfred Molina, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Paul Walter Hauser.

Helming the director's chair is Doug Liman.

Based on the movie's premise, "The Instigators" will follow the story of two thieves who are both now on the run - which they recruit the help of their therapists after a robbery goes south.

"City on a Hill" creator Chuck MacLean and Casey Affleck will be in charge of the script, while John Graham and Jeff Robinov will be developers of the film along with the "Manchester By The Sea" actor.

As of this writing, there is only limited information known about "The Instigators," but fans of the rapper are stoked to see him acting in the film. But before seeing Harlow on "The Instigators," he had already booked his acting debut on Hulu's "White Men Can't Jump" remake.

Jack Harlow' White Men Can't Jump'

Per AllHipHop, a remake of "White Men Can't Jump" starring Harlow is already in the works. Kadeem Hardison, who played Junior in the 1992 film, commented on the inclusion of Harlow in the film.

Speaking to TMZ at the time, Hardison was also excited about seeing Harlow give his own spin on the film.

"I know he can play some ball. I heard that he rhymes. That'll add a whole different flair to it. They don't have to go the typical way they went the first time," he told the outlet. "So it could be interesting."

Asked who he wanted to play as himself in the film, Hardison has one person at the top of his mind - "Power Rangers" actor RJ Cyler.

Harlow, on the other hand, has been mum on releasing new music lately. The last album he released was 2022's "Come Home the Kids Miss You." As of this writing, Harlow seemed to be focused on his acting career and less on his music.
