Each stop Taylor Swift makes in her "Eras Tour" makes her more beloved among fans: from a city being renamed after her, being presented with the city's key, to even being named mayor.

Now there are more updates about the "Lavender Haze" singer, and it's about her generosity.

Prior to Swift's concert in Tampa, Florida, she reportedly donated "over 125,000" meals to the city's food bank.

Thank you @taylorswift for being a HERO and supporting Feeding Tampa Bay's mission to end hunger by 2025!" Wrote Feeding Tampa Bay, a non-profit organization on Instagram. "Your generosity will place over 125,000 meals on tables."

Food Bank Donations

This is not the first time Swift is donating to a food bank in a city that she is slated to perform in.

In fact, she has been doing it for quite some time now, but the singer did not publicize any of these donations, and news of her generosity only came to light soon after.

According to AZ Central, the "Blank Space" singer kicked off her "Eras Tour" at Glendale Arizona, where she made a huge donation to the Arizona Food Network before the opening night.

"It's not every day that you get a call from someone who works in PR for Taylor Swift," said Terri Shoemaker, Vice President of External Relations at Arizona Food Bank Network.

"So we were dubious at first, but happily, it turned out to be absolutely real."

According to NME, Swift has been doing these donations to other food banks in other cities where she has made stops in, including Las Vegas and Texas.

Struggle With Eating Disorder

While Swift did not really say why she is donating to food banks all over the country, some concluded that aside from simply being generous and wanting to help others, it might also be because of Swift's experience with an eating disorder.

In an exclusive interview with Variety, the "Love Story" singer opened up about her relationship with food.

"I didn't know if I was going to feel comfortable with talking about body image and talking about the stuff I've gone through in terms of how unhealthy that's been for me - my relationship with food and all that over the years," she said.

"[...] And my relationship with food was exactly the same psychology that I applied to everything else in my life: If I was given a pat on the head, I registered that as good. If I was given a punishment, I registered that as bad."

Swift has since overcome her eating disorder and says she is in a much better state with her relationship with food.

Perhaps donating to food banks is her way of closing that chapter of her life to welcome a new one.
