Metallica confirmed special video releases of the songs in its "72 Seasons" album.

Released on April 14, Metallica's 12-track album immediately garnered attention from its fan community. The new project serves as the band's 12th studio album, which includes the songs "Lux Aeterna," "Screaming Suicide," "If Darkness Had a Son," "Shadows Follow," "Sleepwalk My Life Away," "You Must Burn!," "Crown of Barbed Wire," "Chasing Light," "Too Far Gone?," "Room of Mirrors," and "Inamorata."

It serves as the band's first full-length album since 2016's "Hardwired...To Self-Destruct".

Days after it dropped the project, Metallica announced a special project as part of National American Sign Language Day.

To make it come true, Metallica collaborated with Deaf Professional Arts Network (DPAN) and Amber G Productions. It made the band the first-ever rock band to create ASL videos for the songs of an entire album.

"It's been an honor to work with Amber and DPAN teams, and we hope that our fans in the deaf and hard of hearing community enjoy experiencing the album through these videos," Metallica said.

Lars Ulrich Calls Metallica's "72 Seasons" The Most Friction-Free Record

Before the "72 Seasons" arrival, Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich sat for an interview with Masa Ito of TVK's Rock City and talked about the band's latest album.

According to the musician, the new album benefited from the members' respect for each other and their increased maturity. He noted that they had a lot of internal differences within 40 years of making music together.

However, they all found themselves in an environment with less in-fighting and less disagreements while working on "72 Seasons."

"This record we made, I think, without any arguments. Nobody was shouting or yelling or doing anything crazy. There was no posturing or 'my way' - it was basically nothing of that," he said, adding that the album is officially the most friction-free record the members ever created.

Metallica released the album through its Blackened Recordings and was produced by James Hetfield, Ulrich, and Greg Fidelman.
