Karol G went on "Saturday Night Live" and slayed: she performed her hit song "Mañana Será Bonito" and even threw a jab directed at GQ Mexico while she was at it.

The Colombian singer's debut on the talk show turned some heads and raised some eyebrows. Not only did her super sexy and hot performance drop some jaws she also did a great job at her first SNL skit.

According to reports, Karol G portrayed a student in a five-minute sketch titled "Spanish Class," alongside actress Ana De Armas.

While most would have found the entire thing hilarious, many also took notice of the singer's shirt-it read "Photoshop" with a big red cross striking across it.

This was in reference to her issue with GQ Mexico. The prominent magazine franchise had Karol G on the cover of their latest issue, but heavily edited her features.

Photoshop

When the GQ Mexico cover was released, the "TQG" singer took to Instagram to clarify some things with her fans.

"I don't even know where to start this message ... Today my GQ magazine cover was made public, a cover with an image that DOES NOT represent me," the singer wrote in Spanish.

"My face doesn't look like that, my body doesn't look like that and I feel very happy and comfortable with how I look naturally."

This came from a caption of a picture that Karol G shared on the app. It showed her bare face, free from makeup, filter, and other edits.

Call Out

Despite his dismay with the magazine, she acknowledged and thanked them for putting her on the cover, but also called them out for changing so much of her features, as it goes against what she advocates for.

She also added that prior to it being published, Karol G already notified GQ Mexico of the heavy editing, and requested that they take it down a notch-which they clearly did not.

"I understand the repercussions this can have, but beyond feeling it's disrespectful to me, it's to the women that every day we wake up looking to feel comfortable with ourselves despite society's stereotypes," she continued.

According to Hypebae, this is not the first time Karol G has spoken out about body image.

Earlier this year, she directly addressed some criticisms thrown her way about her body and specifically her stomach.
