Tragedy struck country singer Kellie Pickler On February 17, 2023.
Her husband, Kyle Jacobs, was found at the couple's Tennessee home after he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Nashville police stated that Kellie awoke without seeing her partner and began searching for him.
When efforts to open access to an upper bedroom/office failed, 911 was contacted by her assistant.
Radar Online got a report from a medical examiner and an official autopsy report concerning Kyle Jacobs' demise.
Kyle Jacobs Toxicology and Autopsy Reports
Tests conducted afterward showed that drugs were not present in Kyle Jacobs' system at the time of his death.
The report noted, "Adult white male with a history of pseudoseizures, gastrointestinal bleeding, elevated liver enzymes, and chronic alcohol use suffered a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head."
It was determined that there was an upward and backward wound path. Upon further investigation of this, a small fragment of lead was discovered in their brain, while another piece with a copper-coated projectile was found inside their body bag as well as a smaller splinter.
An autopsy report on the songwriter also revealed a horrible sight: an intraoral shotgun wound at the back of his mouth accompanied by major damage to his facial structures and brain and fractured pieces of skull.
Additionally, they noted a minor abrasion to his right collarbone area.
The investigation into his death resulted in an intraoral shotgun being listed as its cause. Notably, toxicology reports yielded "unremarkable" results.
According to his obituary, Kyle was cremated.

Initially deciding on a large celebration for their wedding in Nashville, they chose instead to elope to Antigua for an intimate ceremony held on New Year's Day 2011.
Standing chest deep in warm ocean waves, they exchanged vows with no one else present as witnesses.
