Is Miley Cyrus really Clara Pierce?
Netizens seem to think that the "Flowers" singer has taken up a pseudonym or alter ego of some sort.
According to reports, the rumors of a secret album and alter ego was presented by a TikTok user named Andrew Keenan-Bolger on the video-sharing app.
"Give it a listen. There is no way this is not Miley Cyrus!" He said, as he played a snippet of a song from an album called "Down With Me" by an artist named Clara Pierce.
He then proceeded to show the viewers Google search results of the artist, which yielded very little information for someone who "has made an entire [sic] produced album."
Many have begun to suspect that the album might have been a secretly scrapped album by Cyrus, who just released "Endless Summer Vacation."
Fans React
As of this writing, Cyrus is yet to issue a statement regarding the rumors, but fans are already running with it-in fact, many are poking fun at the singer's "attempts" of "hiding in plain sight."
"Updating my stan list," a fan wrote. "Miley Cyrus, Hannah Montana, Ashley O, and Clara Pierce."
"Clara Pierce is Miley Cyrus," another added, with a short snippet of the song "I Don't Wanna Let It Go."
"According to Reports, Clara Pierce (Miley Cyrus) is confirmed to attend the MET Gala on Monday, May 1st."

Debunked or Confirmed?
As of this writing, no one is still certain if Pierce and Cyrus are one and the same person.
However, many find it suspicious that the album has since been taken down after going viral.
To add fuel to the flames of the rumors, Pierce released the 12-track album on the very same day Cyrus dropped "Endless Summer Vacation."
Aside from the strikingly similar vocals, fans point to several lyrics that seem to allude that the singer knows too much or has a lot in common with the "Wrecking Ball" singer.
A song "Sagittarius," which also happens to be Cyrus' star sign, reportedly includes the lyrics "Miley, what's good now?"
The line comes from a particularly heated moment between the singer and Nicki Minaj during the 2015 VMAs, when the latter called her out after accepting an award.
Another TikTok user, Ashley Kritz, noted that Clara Pierce sounds suspiciously like Sasha Fierce, Beyonce's alter ego.
