Noel Gallagher finally addressed the rumors on whether Oasis will finally come back for a reunion-they won't.

"There won't be a tour, we won't come back to play them together," he told Corriere Della Sera, an Italian newspaper.

According to NME, the reason behind this decision might actually be because of Noel himself.

Liam was the lead vocalist in Oasis while Noel played the guitar for the band, which split up back in 2009.

Liam claimed that Noel has "done a lot of damage to Oasis as a brand," which is why the reunion is unlikely to happen.

"Here's how I see it the little fella aka potato has done a lot of damage to Oasis as a band/brand he's got a lot of making up to do not just to me but to you the fans the people that put us where we are today as you were," Liam reportedly wrote.

As of this writing, neither Noel nor Liam have commented on what really went down between them and the falling out that happened years after the disbandment.

However, despite the sad news of Oasis not having a reunion, comes a little nugget of good news: they will be releasing an anniversary reissue of their hit album "Definitely Maybe."

Good News

According to reports, the reissued "Definitely Maybe" will include several songs which Oasis initially thought were "lost."

Apparently, they lived all these years in the archives of their label, and they are finally being released for the world to listen to.

"In the Sony archives, we've found tapes dating to those sessions. We thought they were lost, but they were mislabeled. They are wonderful versions of those songs, some acoustic versions," Noel explained why it took so long for the unreleased songs-the acoustic version of "Live Forever," "Slide Away," and "Supersonic"-to see the light of day.

Oasis Dried Up?

The cracks in Oasis started to show in 2009, when Liam contracted laryngitis and had to cancel their performance at the V Festival.

However, Noel came forward alleging that his brother did not contract laryngitis but instead was hungover.

This turned into something bigger, it became a legal battle between the brothers, which eventually resulted in Noel quitting Oasis.

As of this writing, the band has no concrete plans of reuniting as a band or performing anything together.
