Happy birthday, Lance Bass! Fans may have heard the least of the former 'N Sync singer these past couple of years, since the disbandment of the famed 1990's boy band. Lance Bass Bio 

Born James Lance Bass on May 4, 1979, in Laurel, Mississippi, Lance Bass has also been an actor, producer, and author, in addition, to being a singer. Bass' was born to parents, James Irvin Bass, Jr. and Dianne Bass. He has a sister named Stacy. Lance has been well-known to be a musician who is an over-achiever. Per Thefamouspeople.com, the former 'N Sync member was set to had become an astronaut, before fate intervened and led him to a different career path-music. 

Lance Bass and 'N Sync 

Lance's decision to pursue a music career ensued when, while he was in junior high school, when he got engaged into a phone call with then future 'N Sync bandmate, Justin Timberlake. Right before the phone call ended between Timberlake and Bass, Lance was already an official member of the five member 1990's boyband, 'N Sync. 

'N Sync was the second leading 1990's boyband, having come after the Backstreet Boys in the pop boy group market. Coming in third place for this category was the quartet, 98 degrees. 

Among the top albums of 'N Sync in which Bass was a part of included the group's 1997 debut album, "'NSync," 2000's "No Strings Attached," and 2001's "Celebrity." The singles off "No Strings Attached" "It's Gonna be Me" made it to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with other hit singles, "Bye, Bye, Bye" and "This I Promise You" rounding out the top ten of the said chart. 

What Lance Bass Has Been Up to Since 'N Sync Split 

Lance Bass released an autoboigraphy, ventured into start-up investment, and became the father of two children, since 'N Sync went on an indefinite hiatus, as per Insider.com. 

The Former 'NSync Singer Was Broke While He Was Famous? 

Lance Bass revealed that fame couldn't keep the five members of 'N Sync wealthy back in the day. The main cause of this issue was having controversial boyband manager, Lou Pearlman, as the head of managing the 'N Sync boys' career at the time, as per reported on Theblast.com. Pearlman was also the brain behind the management of the Backstreet Boys.
