Stan Twitter went crazy when Nicki Minaj teased the album release date of "NM5" or the fifth Nicki Minaj album, sending Barbz into a frenzy on their expectations of the upcoming record.

Not only was a Nicki Minaj new album teased, but the possibility of a Nicki Minaj tour could happen depending on what her loyal Barbz wanted.

Nicki Minaj New Album, World Tour, or Meet & Greet?

In a Twitter poll last May 5, 2023, Nicki Minaj asked her 27.9 million followers on Twitter what they expect from her in 2023. There were four choices - NM5, a World Tour starting in the US, the two with more surprises, and both with meet and greet.

As of this writing, the poll has been viewed 3 million times, retweeted over 4,000 times, and was liked by over 22,000 fans.

The current standing of the poll sees 39.9% of people wanting Nicki Minaj to release "Nicki Minaj 5" or "NM5, a world tour starting in the United States, and more surprises.

Second, on the ranking was only the "NM5" release, but fans in the replies section claimed that they pressed the "NM5" option out of reflex and did not see the third option immediately.

Over on Instagram, Nicki Minaj teased the possibility of a Nicki Minaj World Tour coming to fruition. She reposted a video of her singing "Yasss Bish" at a concert.

"Dear Barbz, If I were you, I'd be saving up for the next tour. Y'all ready? " she cheekily teased.

In a follow-up tweet, she said amplified the Barbz's curiosity after tweeting: "Don't you just love it when a plan comes together?"

Nicki Minaj New Album Released In 2023?

Nicki Minaj has been teasing "NM5's" release date for quite some time already. Since telling James Corden that the record would come out in 2022, Minaj has released a number of songs already, including the smash hit "Super Freaky Girl."

In an interview with I-D, Minaj said in November 2022 that "the album will be out soon."

However, Minaj's recent statements to Queen Radio, suggest that something big might be coming soon.

"2023 is the year of the Barbz, 2024 is the year of the Barbz, and 2025 is the year of the Barbz," she revealed.

After doing such, Minaj asked her fans to post stats and videos online about her for the next seven hours.

"Once this task is completed, I'll let you know what's next. I'm waiting on a few new plaques from Republic. I'll let you know if there's a green light on their social media later tonight," she tweeted.
