BTS' Jungkook reached a billion streams on Spotify; making him the first KPOP soloist to achieve the feat the fastest.

According to reports, Jungkook raked in the numbers with the help of his successful solo releases like "Stay Alive," "Left and Right," and the 2022 FIFA World Cup soundtrack song, "Dreamers."

It took the KPOP star exactly 409 days to reach a billion streams on the music streaming platform.

As of this writing, Jungkook reigns over the soloist streams chart on Spotify, surpassing the record set by BLACKPINK's Lisa back in October 2022.

Lisa, the rapper and dancer of the KPOP girl group, earned a billion streams in 411 days thanks to the release of her three singles "LALISA," "MONEY," and "SG."

Jungkook's Solo Album

Jungkook is currently on a little break, as he has not released any new music in a while; however, fans speculate that this might be because he is simply preparing for his highly anticipated solo debut.

As per the KPOP idol's schedule, released by HYBE Entertainment, Jungkook is slated to drop his debut album in the fourth quarter of 2023, along with another BTS member, V.

As of this writing, four of the seven members of the KPOP boy group have released their solo albums: RM, J-Hope, Jimin, and Suga.

It can be expected that once Jungkook releases his solo album, he might bring in some unprecedented statistics into the streaming charts-as well as music charts.

Guinness World Records

Jungkook, along with the rest of BTS, is no stranger to the Guinness World Records.

In fact, the KPOP boy group earned 23 records in 2021, which earned them a spot in the Guinness World Record 2022 Hall of Fame.

The music video for their hit song "Butter" became the most viewed music video on YouTube in 24 hours; this is a record they already held with their song "Dynamite."

Their massive success took over the world in a way no other KPOP group has achieved; however, as of this writing, BTS has taken a hiatus to let the members rest and pursue solo creative pursuits while other members, like Jin and J-Hope, complete their military enlistment.
