Reports have surfaced of tension between Selena Gomez and Francia Raisa.
It is alleged that the 34-year-old fell out with her former best friend due to Selena's refusal to stop drinking after her recovery from surgery, according to Radar Online.
Five months ago, El Cucuy, Francia's dad, was featured on a Spanish news program and made statements that have recently come to light. During his interview, he was asked why his daughter was not included in Selena's much-anticipated documentary.
An interview with Francia's father brought to light an incident from 2017, as it was revealed that she had donated a kidney to the "Lose You To Love Me" singer after she faced severe health issues related to lupus.
When asked about her former friend, Francia evaded the questions.
Recently, Francia encountered a curious fan on her daily stroll with her dog.
This individual bombarded Francia with inquiries about her supposed ex-buddy. These queries have been spurred by reports that Francia had unfollowed Selena on Instagram.
To this, Francia was asked directly whether all was well between them.
Without even batting an eye, Francia answered, "Sunday is so fun; it's a day of rest. I'm Francia and I'm hanging out with my dog," clearly avoiding any questions about Selena.
When asked again whether she still kept in contact with the singer, Francia shaded her yet again by stating: "It's a good day, it's so pretty out now. I was in the snow last week and now LA weather."

News of the actual possible reason for Selena Gomez and Francia Raisa's friendship ending comes after reports that the latter is getting some backlash from the "Wizards of Waverly Place" actress' fans.
Francia disclosed that she had received hate from Selena's fans after breaking her silence on their feud.
In her awkward chat with the fan over the weekend, Francia had skirted questions concerning Selena and was subsequently bombarded with "vile" comments as the video went viral.
Unveiling the shocking utterances made by some of the brunette beauty's followers, it became apparent that some messages directed towards Francia were genuinely horrendous in content.
The response to Francia was unexpected, mainly since Selena has always been outspoken on the issue of mental health.
Nevertheless, it wasn't the first for the Rare Beauty owner to ask her followers to show some restraint. Selena already called a stop to the hate Hailey Bieber is getting.
