Though it sometimes seems as if 90 percent of all Morrissey-related news has more to do with public feuds and controversies rather than his actual music, today there’s some good news to report from the former Smiths frontman: tour dates! On his website True To You yesterday, Morrissey shared a list of confirmed European tour dates, which you can check out below.

Of course, a Morrissey tour is a promise that’s made to be broken, as he’s probably canceled more concerts over the last few years than any other major figure in the music industry. Just this year, he was forced to cancel the last part of his U.S. tour due to a nasty respiratory infection that he allegedly caught from his opening act Kristeen Young (though she vehemently denied this).

In addition to his tour announcement, Morrissey also reminds us that he is still searching for a record label to carry his most recent album World Peace is None of Your Business, which has been removed from the Harvest/Capitol catalogue following his criticism of the label in another True To You post a few weeks back.
