Stevie Nicks has cracked open the vault to unleash another new single. Today (Aug. 26), the legendary rock singer released the second track from her forthcoming album 24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault, the stunning piano ballad "Lady."

Clocking in at nearly five minutes, "Lady" features a solo Nicks at the piano, contemplating her path in life to a simplistic yet beautifully haunting melody.

"And the time keeps going on by and I wonder / What is to become of me / And I'm unsure / I can't see my way / And he says, lady, you don't have to see," Nicks sings in the poignant chorus, first taking a lower vocal route before blasting into the lyrics on a second turn.

"Lady" is a track from Nicks' upcoming solo album 24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault. Earlier this month, she released the album's lead single "The Dealer."

24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault is comprised of old material that never quite made a previous Nicks project, spanning from her Buckingham Nicks days to Fleetwood Mac to her solo material. Nicks re-recorded old demos and written songs for the project, which will be released on Oct. 7 via Warner Bros. records.
