Sam Asghari is speaking out against an upcoming TV special that aims to explore the life of Britney Spears after her years-long conservatorship.

According to The Blast, the upcoming show will tackle the married couple's relationship as well as the personal life of the pop star, specifically her mental health.

The show will be available to the public tomorrow evening, but the actor is now blasting the TV special and sharing his personal thoughts on the matter.

Taking to his official Instagram stories, the singer's husband began his statement by saying the last thing he wanted to do is to speak on his wife's behalf because he respects her privacy and this is the main reason why he doesn't talk about her that much.

He further noted that he finds it disgusting that the "most influential person of our generation" was put in "prison" where her father, a conservator of her conservatorship, told her what to do in a span of years and made her a "money-making machine."

Now that Britney Spears is finally free, Sam Asghari is against putting his wife "under a microscope and tell her story."

In a second video, the actor said it's also "disgusting" to make a TV special about his wife, also warning fans that they shouldn't believe what they read online.

"Ninety-nine percent of the time, those are all click baits for you to click and for them to make money and that time is over. You know, we're not gonna allow that and that should stop," he added.
