And then there were three! After thousands of auditionees and hopefuls, "American Idol" Season 21 comes to a close as host Ryan Seacrest announced the Top 3 of this season - Iam Tongi, Megan Danielle, and Colin Stough!

'American Idol' Season 21 Grand Finale Predictions

According to TV Line, Hawaiian, and Seattle native Iam Tongi was the clear standout from Day 1. With his soulful beach spell that the judges have been enchanted with since the audition, the crooner's vocals and interpretations are always a knockout.

Per the outlet, Tongi won almost every weekly poll they had. We all know how text votes matter and given that he's a judge's favorite, we could almost see the confetti come down on Tongi already!

Perry also made a bold claim on Disney Night that Tongi will win American Idol. (via The Daily Mail)

"I believe it's written in the stars," Perry said. "I don't believe in coincidences. I know that you are Iam, but when I see your name I see 'I am ...the next American Idol'."

Pink Villa, on the other hand, also predicts Tongi as the clear front-runner on the show. They also noted that We Ani, who is one of the best vocalists in the competition, would have placed second. However, Ani was eliminated in the Top 3.

Meanwhile, the outlet noted that Stough might come in second given he has been lauded and considered a dark horse in the competition.
