A serious health condition may have caused Jaime Foxx to suffer a stroke, throwing Cameron Diaz's return to the big screen into even more disarray.
This surprising news comes from former boxing champion Mike Tyson who was in the know.
Jamie has invested much of his time making a biopic about the sporting legend. He stated: "It's sad. They said it was a stroke. I'm not aware of what happened to him."
The actor spent several weeks in the hospital and is at home now recuperating.
His Netflix-funded film Back in Action is Cameron's first movie after taking an extended break from acting nine years ago.
Despite the initial enthusiasm for the former "Charlie's Angels" actress to return, it has been anything other than smooth sailing.
Numerous complications have wracked production, leading Jamie to terminate multiple crew members and further delays while filming in London.
A source told The Sun, "This is nothing short of a catastrophe, and Cameron must be questioning her decision to get involved again."
"However, with his health problems showing no signs of abating soon, those earlier delays could quite possibly appear insignificant in comparison."
It is not easy to hear this news, and fans all hope the best for Jamie Foxx, who won an Oscar for his performance in "Ray."
The award-winning actor was also successful as a musician. He obtained a Grammy Award, and four albums placed in the top ten charts in America.
It has been disclosed that Jamie Foxx is currently receiving medical treatment at a rehabilitation center in Chicago that specializes in stroke therapy and spinal cord injury recovery.

Since the start of April, Jamie has been in a health facility after spending three weeks at a hospital in Georgia.
Reports have suggested that the family hopes for the actor to recover fully. The story began when Corrine, his daughter, announced on the 12th of April, saying, "We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery."
In recent weeks, Corrine has been spending much of her time with her sister and other family members outside the rehab center. Still, Jamie is nowhere to be found after he was admitted earlier in April.
Corrine said in a statement to the public, "We understand the adoration for him and are grateful for your prayers during this trying time. We kindly ask for privacy while we make it through this difficult period."
