Grammy-winning Nile Rodgers and Rudimental are teaming up for a very special collaboration. The two are reportedly working on a remix of CHIC's 1978 hit record "Le Freak."

As reported by MusicNews, the track will be co-produced by a group of young people from across the UK. The revamped version of "Le Freak" will be played for the first time at a secret gig later this year.

Rodgers and Rudimental's are working with GoThinkBig to recruit the new talent that will be working on the track.

GoThinkBig has been described as a work experience initiative launched by O2 and Bauer Media to offer young people across the country a chance to join their supergroup.

Nile, Rudimental and GoThinkBig will be recruiting up to 100 young people to fill job roles in support of the re-release of "Le Freak."

Starting today (Aug. 27), young people aged between 16 and 24 can apply for a host of different roles through the GoThinkBig website. Those selected to participate will be picked by a panel of judges.

Applicants are able to select from a huge range of positions including production, performance, sound technician, studio management, camera crew, stylists, box office and marketing.

Each successful applicant appointed to a role will work closely with a professional counterpart during September for the production of the track and music video, and early October for the secret gig.

"I know the feeling of rejection from when I started out and for many young people it's hard to get their first career break," said Rodgers who also founded the We Are Family Foundation. "That's why I've joined forces with GoThinkBig to offer up opportunities to remix my most successful track, Le Freak and inspire young people across the UK to dream big."
