One celebrity has reportedly been a close companion to Celine Dion as the legendary artist tirelessly strives for her miracle comeback, despite her ongoing health problems.

It has been reported that she and Shania Twain have had an unspoken bond and shared secrets for years. A source said, "Celine and Shania have developed a deep friendship.

In the aftermath of Celine's husband and manager's death in 2016, Shania came to the singer's aid by helping her through career changes she had never encountered before.

A source close to Radar Online stated: "These were things that Shania went through as well after her divorce."

Back in 2011, the "Still The One" singer married Frederic Thiebaud while divorcing producer Mutt Lange in 2010.

The 2022 diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome for Celine has created an even stronger bond between her and Shania.

An inside source stated, "Shania wants to make sure that Celine knows she isn't facing this challenge alone. It can be a very isolating experience when someone is trying to keep the battle confidential."

A few days ago, the unfortunate news of Celine Dion canceling the rest of her Courage World Tour, dated for 2023 and 2024, was made public. This difficult decision was reached as Celine is focusing on her health.

The "My Heart Will Go On" singer told her millions of fans, "I want you all to know, I'm not giving up ... and I can't wait to see you again!"

The singer has been fighting against her stiff-person syndrome - a rare neurological disorder that causes spasms and muscle rigidity with no cure thus far.

In tribute to her late husband René, Celine is determined to write an inspiring comeback story in his honor.

Sources confirm that the performer has told close friends this is her intention and that she will not give up without trying.

"Celine wants to prove herself and make sure René's memory remains alive," shared one of her confidants. "Her battle against any health issues will be dedicated to him."

"Defeat is not an option for her," declared an insider, adding that the songstress has been arduously working on her recovery through physical therapy, healthy eating habits, and regular meditative and yoga sessions to retake the stage in 2021.
