Country music has seen its fair share of superstars, but these days, there seems to be a new superstar in town-Morgan Wallen.

With all his chart-topping hits and sold-out tours, it might not come as a surprise that Wallen is definitely a shoo-in for a legendary country star in the making.

In fact, Billboard's recent report about his well-attended and highly anticipated tour is enough proof.

Four of the singer's April shows sold over 145,000 tickets which generated $27. 9 million, overtaking Elton John's $27 million and Luke Combs' $25.8 million.

Does this mean that this is simply the beginning of a long, successful reign by the country star?

Coming In Hot

On top of his massively successful tour, Wallen is also currently enjoying and occupying the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with his song "Last Night" and the top spot on the Billboard Country Album chart with his album "One Thing at a Time."

Leading a Billboard Hot 100 is no easy feat, but Wallen has managed to pull it off time and time again, beating some of the music industry's biggest stars like Bad Bunny.

According to reports, "Last Night" just entered its eighth week at the top spot on the highly coveted music chart.

It also happens to top the Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs chart as well.

If "Last Night" spends a little more time on the chart, it might actually hold a flame to Miley Cyrus' super hit song "Flowers," which is practically living on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at this point; as well as Adele's "Easy On Me" which spent 15 weeks on the chart.

New Milestone

On top of his song being so successful on the Billboard Hot 100, Wallen is also seeing much success in the country album chart.

The singer's third studio album "One Thing at a Time" has officially spent the most weeks at the top spot of the country album chart with 12 weeks.

That means Wallen beat a record once held by Taylor Swift with her hit album "Fearless," which spent 11 weeks on the chart.

If Wallen's album stay in its position for the next few weeks, he might beat Billy Ray Cyrus' "Some Gave All" which spent 17 weeks atop the charts.

Wallen has a very good chance of becoming one of the biggest country stars in this generation, and it seems like he's heading straight to it.
