Steel Panther literally rocked "America's Got Talent" Season 18 when it surprised the judges and viewers with its audition.

"America's Got Talent" extended its run and launched its newest season Tuesday alongside its judging panel of Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara. Terry Crews also returned as the show's host.

During the two-hour premiere, the judges went through a rollercoaster ride as the auditionees made their way to the center stage. But they were more surprised when they see the rock band Steel Panther trying its luck to become the next title holder.

Steel Panther Joins "America's Got Talent"

"America's Got Talent" has its audition phase during which at least three of the four judges should give the contestant a "yes" in order to advance to the next round. Performers get eliminated if two or more judges show disapproval by hitting the buzz.

Judges also have the chance to give a specific contestant a golden buzzer which sends them straight to the final list of auditionees for the live segment.

During the Tuesday premiere, Steel Panther surprised everyone when it performed its hit song, "Eyes of a Panther." The band has since expressed its gratitude toward the judges for giving them a chance to advance, saying that it has nothing left to do but to win the show.

Steel Panther Scores Approval From Judges

All four judges said "yes" to their performance, with Cowell initiating a standing ovation inside the studio.

Among the comments include Klum praising Michael Starr's vocals and commending the frontman's control.

"I'm a great believer [in] you just do whatever you feel you wanna do. If you want more people to know you, this will happen. You're so talented," Cowell said. "It's so clear that you've been doing this a long time because you don't get good like this overnight. I could see this in Vegas. Everything about this audition for me was just brilliant."

Meanwhile, Mandel compared Steel Panther's audition piece to like having the shortest festival he has ever attended. He also told the band that it needs to bring its music to the show in the next few shows.

Fans can watch the next performances by Steel Panther through NBC every Tuesday at 8 p.m ET. Peacock also streams the new episode on the platform the next day.
