As Kelly Clarkson continues to attract high ratings, there is no shortage of pampering her on the set of her show.

NBCUniversal reported that the show had an average of 1.3 million viewers for each episode as of the 2022-2023 season.

Meanwhile, recent reports suggest that lavish arrangements such as floral bouquets, extravagant gift baskets, and five-star catering have been made available - despite criticism directed at "The Kelly Clarkson Show."

Just this past month, the "Since U Been Gone" singer was compelled to address her fans on Instagram in response to reports of a potentially toxic work environment on the set of her award-winning show

These claims elicited from eleven current and former staff members were revealed in an exposé published in the Rolling Stone.

Reports have arisen that working conditions on the NBC show were "traumatizing to their mental health," according to disgruntled staff.

The anonymous employees spoke highly of the 41-year-old talk show host, claiming she was "fantastic," however they had no such kind words for the producers who made their lives a "living hell."

In response to the expose, The Sun reported that a TV insider said that while they are trying to ensure better behavior on set, it's not ultimately up to the host, such as in the case of Kelly, to run the day-to-day operations of the show.

Seeming to agree with this point, they noted: "There is always room to grow and ensure we are being/becoming the best version of ourselves in any business."

In the face of this scandal, one insider commented that although Kelly Clarkson may be attempting to assert herself more, the main objective is maintaining the show and generating revenue.

Furthermore, it was noted that "The press reacted more powerfully to the Rolling Stone article than the studio did, though this has not greatly impacted how 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' operates."

The insider went on to explain that behind every hit morning show is a hard-working team of producers who maintain operations, ensuring that a show airs each weekday for nine months out of the year.

However, one individual is charged with holding it all together: Kelly Clarkson, per the source.

They went on to say that for the former "American Idol" star, it is all about keeping her gaze on one task - being an engaging and vibrant host - to be successful with this role day in and day out.

NBC studio is determined to make Kelly's show a success, and they are taking measures to keep the singer-host inspired, by giving her baskets of presents, fresh flowers in her changing area, five-star catering, and an air of calm permeate the set when it's time for her shoot.

The source said that all these small details keep Kelly coming back day after day with enthusiasm.
