The first three days of this year's CMA Fest have been a blast for attendees as they were able to witness some of their favorite country stars perform in different stages. However, the final day was different as outdoor stages didn't re-open; what happened?
According to WKRN, the Country Music Association first shared an update on their official Instagram account before 2 p.m. on June 11, telling fans to "safely seek shelter" as soon as possible due to the bad weather.
Shelters that would acommodate fans would be at the Hilton Hotel underground garage, 222 Garage, Music City Center and Garage, and more.
However, more than an hour later, they ultimately revealed that all of their outdoor stages will not be open anymore after the National Weather Service shared their forecast.

"All outdoor daytime stages will not reopen. Await further instructions before heading to Nissan Stadium, gates will be delayed," they wrote.
This doesn't mean that the entire festival would be canceled as fans can still attend the show inside Nissan Stadium at night.
CMA later told concertgoers that they are "optimistic" to pull off a full show tonight. However, opening of the gates will be delayed.
As of this writing, there are no further instructions or details regarding the exact time of when the gates of the venue will open to let it fans for the night show.
CMA Fest 2023: Nissan Stadium Performers
For the Nissan Stadium stage, the initial schedule would be at 6:30 p.m. but there is still no word if the event would make changes due to the weather happening around the venue.
Scheduled performers for tonight are: Josh Turner, Ashley McBryde, Dierks Bentley, Tim McGraw, and Luke Bryan.
For the platform stage inside the stadium, Megan Moroney and Nate Smith would also perform.
