Fans were thrilled to see Joni Mitchell take the stage again as it took her almost 20 years before has had a headlining show to entertain her supporters; check out which songs she performed and who helped her throughout the evening.

According to 97x, the folk legend performed at the Gorge Amphitheater in Quincy, Washington, over the weekend, marking it her first ticketed concert in a very long time.

Brandi Carlile was the one who accompanied and helped the musician sing some of her biggest songs as well as cover tracks originally sung by other artists. In total, she reportedly performed 24 tracks from her six-decade music catalog.

The country music star was also the opening act for the evening. In addition to being the special performer for the concert, she also worked with the legend for her new album "At Newport:"

Why Did Joni Mitchell Stop Performing?

According to VOA, Joni Mitchell made her onstage comeback last year at the Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island. It is considered to be her first performance in front of fans in over two decades.

The outlet noted that one of the main reasons why the folk musician stopped performing was because of her health problems.

She reportedly suffered from an aneurysm last 2015 which caused her brain to bleed. In addition, she also had a hard time speaking and playing the guitar.

Her health condition also contributed to her ability to walk, that's why she was sitting in a wheelchair throughout her concert.
