Sisters Dannii and Kylie Minogue performed together earlier this year but the younger sibling recently revealed that she was nervous taking the stage with her sister in front of thousands of fans; find out the reason why below.

The musician recently spoke with "The Project" this week to talk about her onstage performance with the "Padam" hitmaker at the Sydney WorldPride Opening Concert at The Domain.

Speaking about her true feelings about the show, Dannii said she was "nervous" performing with her sister which started when someone from the production team commented on how long it has been since the last time she performed.

In the conversation, Dannii, who's known for her hit songs "This Is It," "Touch Me Like That," and many more, recalled that the sound guy told her during the rehearsals that it's been eight years since her previous performance.

"at that point I went, 'Oh, gosh, that's why I'm so nervous!'" she told the hosts.

Even though it was a nerve-racking moment for her, the musician enjoyed taking the stage with her older sibling, especially after the world shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"It was such a joy, coming up from Melbourne to Sydney, after lockdown, to be able to enjoy a crowd of people and music, there's nothing like that, a live gig," she added.

Revisiting the day of its release decades ago, the musician said she was overwhelmed and running around to promote her album. At the time, it was hard for her to "enjoy it all."

Even though she had a hard time containing it in, she knew that there will come a time in the future that she would "look back on it all" and be happy with her success.

To celebrate its anniversary, the singer is set to re-release the record as a deluxe edition together with new merch such as a picture disc vinyl, a cassette, and many more, which will be available this week on June 16.
