Hailey Bieber seemingly tried to protect Selena Gomez from mean comments online.

The buzz started when Gomez posted a carousel of Instagram photos of her during her tour in Paris, which has the caption, "Crazy about you Paris." Negative and hateful comments suddenly dominated the post's comment section, with others calling her out for allegedly "playing the victim."

Hailey Bieber Defends Selena Gomez?

After the post, Justin Bieber's wife shared a post on her Instagram Story Monday asking her fans not to leave hate comments on social media posts. While she did not mention Gomez, some said she probably referenced the 30-year-old singer.

"If you're leaving mean or rude comments on my behalf on anyone's posts just know that I don't want that, nor do I ever or will I ever support or condone hateful, mean, or nasty comments," she said. "Doing that is not supporting me. If you are participating in that, you are a part of a culture that I want no part of."

Her post came months after Gomez did a similar thing when she defended Hailey through an Instagram Story. At that time, the "Lose You To Love Me" singer revealed that Hailey contacted her about the death threats she had been receiving.

Gomez reminded everyone that no one should experience such hate or bullying, saying it was not what she stands for.

In response to her move, Hailey took to her Instagram Story and thanked her for speaking out after they were linked to an issue involving Kylie Jenner.

What Happened Between Hailey Bieber, Kylie Jenner, Selena Gomez?

Gomez's fans immediately slammed Jenner and Hailey after the duo reportedly made fun of the singer when they posted something about their eyebrows. They shared the post after the singer opened up about over-laminating her own brows in an Instagram Story.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder dismissed the claims through TikTok, saying that they did not shade Gomez and that people should stop making something out of nothing.

However, the feud rumors renewed when a clip of Hailey from her old show showed the model pretending to gag when Method Man referenced Taylor Swift's album. Gomez responded to the video and supported her best friend by saying that her best friend continues to be one of the best despite the hate.
