Olivia Rodrigo just announced her new single "Vampire" and she is currently in a new era of music after the success of her debut album, "SOUR." More recently, fans speculated that the pop superstar might be collaborating with an even bigger artist for her next project.

It all started when the "High School Musical: The Musical Series" actress took to her official Instagram account to share a mirror selfie wherein a kiss mark can be seen on her reflection.

In the caption, the musician seemingly referenced Del Rey's track "Venice B****" which reads "kiss kiss bang bang."

"is this hinting at something with lana or am i just delulu," one wrote, while another one noted, "wait the caption is this something with lana."

Despite the speculations, it's still unclear if Olivia Rodrigo would collaborate with Lana Del Rey in her next musical era.

Lana Del Rey, Olivia Rodrigo Interaction

Lana Del Rey and Olivia Rodrigo have previously interacted with one another as they both attended the Billboard Women in Music earlier this year.

During the event, they were spotted chatting and hugging with each other and fans have still been puzzled on what could they be talking about.

The "Drivers License" songstress presented the Visionary Award that evening, and she told the crowd, "Lana has raised an entire generation of music lovers and songwriters like me, and taught them that there's beauty in their vulnerability and power in their melancholy."

Olivia Rodrigo 'Vampire'

Olivia Rodrigo will be making her musical comeback later this year after the massive success of her first album "Sour" in 2020.

Fans have been waiting for her to drop new music as they know that it would be a banger, similar to the tracks included in her first album.

Titled "Vampire," the musician took to her official social media accounts to share the announcement by posting the official album cover which features a black-and-white photo of herself with two purple bandages on her neck.

The track will be available for streaming on major music platforms like Spotify and Apple Music starting on June 30, but it is now available for pre-save.
