Due to Ariana Grande's demanding career, her relationship with her husband, Dalton Gomez, has allegedly begun to suffer.

Ever since she was cast in the musical movie "Wicked," the singer of "Thank U Next " and the real estate agent by trade, have found it hard to manage their relationship due to Ariana's jam-packed agenda.

As Radar Online reported, the former Nickelodeon star's dedication to her upcoming movie adaptation has taken over her life and pushed her marriage to a back burner.

"She's been in Australia and England for nearly a year now," an insider commented, "and she still has months left on her shoot. It's put tremendous strain on their relationship."

Although Ariana and Dalton had married in a private ceremony earlier that year, they did not have much opportunity to savor the newlywed life due to the timing of Ariana's casting in an upcoming movie.

In fact, even when Dalton visits his 29-year-old wife, they only manage to spend minimal time with one another, a source revealed to the outlet.

The "God Is A Woman" singer reportedly dedicates her all to her acting role, even allowing it to affect her relationship with her husband.

According to a source, she limits speaking to save her voice for filming, which doesn't leave much room for conversation between them. Her dedicated approach has put a strain on their marriage.

Dalton's patience has undoubtedly been tested as his partner prioritizes her career, according to an inside source.

But, of course, this report should still be taken with a grain of salt.

Ariana's commitment to the movie is understandable given the iconic nature of the part she plays.

Tony Award-nominated actress Kristin Chenoweth, known for portraying the good witch in the successful musical, shared that the pop star was apprehensive about taking on such a role in the two-part adaptation.

On "The Kelly Clarkson Show," her voice quivering with nerves, Kristin declared that even though no advice had been sought, her ultimate goal was to honor me. "I'm really scared, but I want to make you proud," were her humble words.

Almost 20 years ago, when Ariana was a young "Wicked" fan, she met the former "Pushing Daisies" actress backstage.

Kristin expressed, "I said 'What I want to encourage you do, Ariana, is make Glinda your Glinda. I want you to do you.'"

"I've known her since I was 10, and now I see the full circle. She called me [crying] like 'I got it!' I went 'Oh my God, what?!' We sounded like dogs! But I'm so proud of her."
