The Jonas Brothers and TXT finally announce that they are releasing their new collab song called "Do It Like That," after weeks of teasing their fans.

To commemorate the collab, a hilarious video of the two groups, using a popular TikTok sound that was originally heard in the 2001 "Zoolander" movie, was shared online.

According to reports, the song and the accompanying music video are expected to be released on July 7, 1 p.m. KST.

Jonas Brothers, TXT Collab

According to reports, before the new song was announced, the two groups have been dropping hints that they might be having a collab.

TXT shared a picture of themselves with the caption "We got together," referencing the Jonas Brothers' 2019 album, "Happiness Begins" and their hit song "Sucker."

Nick Jonas notably liked the picture on Twitter, which only caused fans to speculate even further. On top of that, OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder-the upcoming song's producer-retweeted a tweet from a fan, speculating that the collab was more than just between the two groups.

Fans from both groups expressed their excitement on social media. "Oh nah, that's gonna be a bop," one wrote.

"The news we love to wake up to," another added.

Who is TXT?

TXT refers to Tomorrow X Together, read as "Tomorrow by Together"; they are a five-membered KPOP boy group from the same label and agency as BTS.

The group consists of Soobin, Yeonjun, Taehyun, Beomgyu, and HueningKai.

Despite not being as huge as BTS, TXT has enjoyed much success early into its career. Their debut EP peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard World Albums Chart and entered the Billboard 200 at 140; they were also the first KPOP idols to perform at the Lollapalooza.

Perhaps the reason why the Jonas Brothers decided to work with the KPOP group was to make sure that they make true to their promise of pursuing different sounds to connect better with their fans.

"I think as an artist, you push yourself to be as transparent and kind of open and honest as possible with your fans, hoping that it will have a deeper connection," Nick explained.

"But we've been just absolutely floored with how this song in particular has connected with our fan base and people all over the world. And it's really exciting!"
