Josh Bush shared his plans before he dies, one of which involves a project related to his former band, Anthrax.

Over the four decades of its career, Anthrax saw different vocalists come and go to front the band, including Bush, Dan Nelson, Joey Belladonna, and Neil Turbin. For Bush's part, he led the band from 1992 to 2005 until Belladonna returned for its 20th-anniversary tour.

Although he remains the vocalist of Armored Saint, the singer still has one thing to do before his death in the future.

Josh Bush Shares His Wish Before His Death

While Bush is still healthy and strong enough to continue his career as a musician, he recently shared his thoughts about mortality and the thing he wishes to do before his death.

He told Rock on the Rise Radio that he wants to embark on a solo tour to mark his legacy as a former vocalist of Anthrax after the outlet asked him whether he is open to doing the special tour.

According to Bush, he has been talking about it for a long time and even contacted his booking agent to finally launch his solo tour. He added that he likes the idea of celebrating his Anthrax legacy through a series of shows; however, money talks reportedly affect his desire all the time.

"When you do things like that, you sometimes can't make money," he said. "Not that I need to make a lot of money, but you certainly don't wanna lose money. So that was one of my ideas and that was where one of the conflicts came, and so we stopped talking about it again."

Despite the idea staying as an idea for now, Bush expressed his desire to do it before he dies and shared how he reportedly started thinking about it even more before he turns 60 this year.

Josh Bush Did Not Make Enough Money With Anthrax

Although Anthrax is one of the most successful bands in history, its members reportedly suffered financial issues over the years.

Bush previously opened up about his financial struggles during his 2022 appearance on the "The Ex-Man" podcast hosted by Doc Coyle. The former Anthrax frontman talked about money again and said working as a musician with the band was not enough for him to pay his bills over the years.

He disclosed that he also worked with non-music-related employment opportunities just to cover his daily needs.
