Selena Gomez is tired of people making comments about how she looks. In another post, she shared that people who cannot stop body shaming her could just go away, because she's not a model who needs to have a body a certain way. Did she just take a swipe against Hailey Bieber and Kenny Rogers.
In a TikTok Live on Thursday, the singer and Rare Beauty entrepreneur spoke candidly about her experiences taking medication for the autoimmune disease lupus. She made these remarks during the livestream.
She explained that she tend to hold a lot of water weight and that happens very normally, and then when she's off, she tends to kind of lose weight. She said she just wanted to express and encourage everyone out there that feels any sort of shame for exactly what they are going through, [when] nobody knows the whole story, that they are fantastic and lovely.
Gomez admitted that she occasionally felt "like shit" but stated she preferred to be healthy and take her medication to enable her live a better life. Aching muscles, exhaustion, joint pain and/or stiffness, hair loss, depression, and skin lesions are just a few of the symptoms of lupus, which vary in severity. Gomez underwent a kidney transplant in 2017, indicating that the condition has caused her to have serious issues.

Not a model, never will be," she added. "Thanks for supporting me and understanding, and if not...go away. Because, honestly, I don't believe in shaming people for [their] body or anything."
Gomez discussed attending the Met Gala in 2015 when she "didn't feel good about my body" as a result of weight fluctuation in a breakdown of her "Life in Looks" for Vogue. Despite the fact that she is stunning in the pictures, her openness will undoubtedly soothe any woman who is battling with her weight or body image.
She has embraced having a body in general on Instagram, where she has shared photographs without makeup and highlighted her belly rolls. Selena Gomez is a fantastic role model, despite the fact that, as she claims, she is not a model in the strictest meaning of the word.
Could she be mocking Kendall Jenner and Hailey Beiber though? Both Jenner and Beiber are models in their own right, and it's the two of them who have body-shamed Selena Gomez in the past.
But then, there are rumors that Kendall and Hailey are not as close anymore.
"I noticed that Kendall and Hailey haven't been spotted much/as close since the Selena drama," another person suggested. It's possible that she's referring to the viral resurfaced drama between Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber that took place back in March.
